Stainless Steel 321 Sheet and Plates is an austenitic steel alloy that resists intergranular corrosion well, especially at elevated temperatures. Its composition is 17-19% chromium, 9-12% nickel and 0.5% titanium, making the product stable against carbide precipitation. Mechanical properties include tensile strength of 520-720 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. It also provides excellent weldability and oxidation resistance, making it ideal for high temperature applications such as in the aerospace, chemical and petrochemical industries, where corrosion resistance and thermal stability are important.
