Inconel 600 foils are a nickel-based alloy containing approximately 72% nickel, 14-17% chromium, and 6-10% iron, with small amounts of manganese, carbon, silicon, and sulfur. This composition provides exceptional resistance to oxidation and corrosion. The foils exhibit a tensile strength of 550-750 MPa, a yield strength of 240-310 MPa, and an elongation of about 35-45%. With a melting range of 1354–1413°C and excellent thermal stability, they perform well in extreme temperatures. Inconel 600 is also highly resistant to stress-corrosion cracking and non-magnetic.
